1. Introduction

Caelrise Consulting LLP (“we”, “us” or “our”) is committed to protecting your privacy. This policy explains how we collect, use, store and share personal data in line with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (“DPDP Act”), as applicable.

2. Information we collect

• Identity and contact data: name, designation, company, email address, phone number and address that you share through our website, email, WhatsApp or during an engagement.
• Engagement data: financial statements, tax records, bank statements, corporate records, notices and KYC documents that you provide so we can deliver our services.
• Website usage data: basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, collected by our hosting provider and any analytics tools we use.

3. How we use your information

• To respond to enquiries and provide consulting, tax, compliance, regulatory and funding advisory services.
• To prepare and file returns, forms and submissions with government authorities on your instructions.
• To coordinate with banks, NBFCs, investors, advocates and other professionals where your engagement requires it.
• To meet our own legal, regulatory and record-keeping obligations.

4. Consent and sharing

We process personal data on the basis of your consent or for legitimate uses permitted under the DPDP Act. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to us; this does not affect processing already carried out.

We may share data with government portals (including the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, the Income Tax Department, the GST Network and the Reserve Bank of India through authorised dealer banks), lenders and investors you have asked us to approach, and professionals engaged on your matter. We do not sell or rent personal data.

5. Security and retention

We use reasonable physical, electronic and administrative safeguards, and restrict access to client records on a need-to-know basis. We retain data only as long as needed for the purpose it was collected or as required by law. No transmission over the internet is completely secure.

6. Your rights

• Access a summary of your personal data we process and whom it has been shared with.
• Correct, complete, update or request erasure of your personal data.
• Nominate another person to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity.
• Raise a grievance with us and, if unresolved, with the Data Protection Board of India.
